LGA Partners, a leading architecture firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, is currently seeking a BIM Manager to lead the strategic implementation and management of BIM and CAD technologies across our award-winning architecture firm. As our BIM Manager, you will play a critical role in implementing firm-wide standards, elevating design technology, and empowering teams across our six design studios and multiple office locations. This role will also provide staff training to ensure our project teams work efficiently and consistently to enhance our design workflows, quality control, and project delivery.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, team-oriented professional who bridges design intent and technical execution, someone comfortable developing and implementing firmwide standards, mentoring staff, and troubleshooting complex models for a variety of project types.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Partner with Firm Leadership to develop drawing and BIM standards, manuals, and templates
- Lead firm-wide implementation and oversight of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices
- Develop and maintain Revit and AutoCAD templates, families, and documentation standards
- Collaborate with project architects and consultants to maintain clean, coordinated, and properly structured BIM models
- Provide daily hands-on support including troubleshooting model and family issues, resolve coordination conflicts, and software problems
- Provide training and mentorship across teams and skill levels to elevate technical proficiency firm-wide
- Develop quick-reference guides, tips & tricks, and internal learning resources
- Conduct QA/QC reviews of Revit models to ensure consistency and compliance with standards; Develop and implement a Revit QA/QC policy for model health and efficiency
- Oversee BIM-related project work, including AutoCAD-to-Revit conversions
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings with consultants and clients
- Document and refine workflows to ensure scalability and consistency across studios
- Support project teams during project set up and while producing accurate, well-organized drawing sets quickly and effectively
- Collaborate with IT on hardware/software evaluations and implementation; Plan and manage Revit, AutoCAD, and related software upgrades, customizations, and budget
- Stay current with emerging BIM tools, trends, and industry best practices; participate in professional BIM networks
- 8+ years of AEC industry experience, including 5+ years of expert-level BIM management
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Expert in Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Working knowledge of Navisworks, Enscape, TwinMotion, Lumion, Bluebeam, as well as other industry softwares
- Ability to translate design intent into models and documentation
- Familiarity with CAD-Revit integration workflows and troubleshooting
- Deep knowledge of architectural documentation standards
- Proven ability to create Revit families and manage large, coordinated models
- Collaborative mindset with the confidence to lead BIM initiatives across departments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to train, mentor, and support others effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across teams
